The lab of Martin Wasser at A*STAR in Singapore has generated beautiful 5-day time-lapse microscopy videos of developing Drosophila embryos in CyGEL(TM).
For the first time (we believe) this conveniently allows a longitudinal examination of the development of embryos at high resolution to better understand their development and how that is affected by perturbations like siRNAs, drug treatments and so on.
