Xenopus embryo labeling...

Live X. laevis (late gastrula) embryo imaging with DRAQ5 was used to confirm nuclear localization and expression of an injected GFP-mRNA construct.  DRAQ5 was incubated for 1 hour at 10uM prior to imaging.

Automated Micronucleus Test (MNT)...

DRAQ5 is demonstrated as a key component to allow unsupervised automation of the micronucleus assay to assess genotoxicity.
The fluorescent dyes DRAQ5 and Hoechst are used in combination to delineate the cytoplasm, and thereby, reliably identify bi-nuclei/micronuclei, respectively.

DRAQ7 stars at CYTO 2012...

DRAQ7™ was the subject of 5 scientific poster presentations at the recent CYTO congress held in Leipzig (June 2012).
The data shown confirm the far-red, live cell impermeant DRAQ7™ is the ideal viability dye for a broad spectrum of applications in flow cytometry, cell sorting and time-lapse cell based assays.
